In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 air travel apps in Sweden showed varying trends in terms of weekly downloads, active users, and revenue, according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at how each app performed.

SAS – Scandinavian Airlines experienced consistent growth in weekly downloads, starting at around 4.2K in early January and peaking at approximately 5.5K by the end of March. The app also saw a steady increase in weekly active users, beginning at 11.5K and reaching about 12.9K by the quarter's end.

Ryanair maintained a stable download rate, starting at 3.9K in the first week of January and climbing to 5K by the end of March. Weekly active users fluctuated but generally trended upwards, beginning at 27K and ending at approximately 28.5K.

Norwegian Travel Assistant showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, from 2.3K at the start of January to nearly 4K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 7.9K and rising to around 9.7K throughout the quarter.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker saw a moderate rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 2.9K and peaking at 3.8K in early March. Revenue for the app showed a significant increase, starting at $4.7K in the first week of January and reaching approximately $6.6K by the end of March. Active users also increased from 35.7K to about 40.4K during the same period.

Lufthansa had a relatively steady download rate, with figures ranging from 1.5K to 2K throughout the quarter. Active users remained stable, starting at 11.3K and ending at around 12K by the end of March.
